Asheville Bit & Steel Co. is a family owned company which has been in business since 1967 servicing the construction, mining, quarry, and the emerging geothermal industries. Our company has continually grown to a base of several hundred customers since it was founded. As sales grew, we began offering more products and currently we have one of the most diverse product lines available today. We currently employ 25 people in the shop, office and sales departments.

From the very beginning our company has been based on supplying a quality product at a competitive price and furnishing a service that is second to none. Because of this policy, we have become well know throughout the industry. Currently our customers in the southeastern United States are serviced by our route trucks on a bi-weekly basis, and customers not serviced by our trucks can receive product by common carrier delivery.

To maintain our reputation in the industry we have become very selective of the products we represent, extensive testing is preformed on all products we sell before we bring them to market, as we stand behind everything we sell. In 2005 after many years of supplying parts and consumables, we picked up our most recent line of products when we partnered with TEI to distribute their products on the east coast, giving us our first full line of rock drilling attachments and limited access drill rigs.
